    We will be testing Bans in PTS, Live release will be pending results.
  • Added the ability to delete Loadouts from the Loadout screen. Also added the ability to delete Loadouts from the edit screen by clearing out a deck and then clicking save.
  • When selecting a Champion they will now say their name based on the Voice Pack you have selected.
  • Improved Visual effects feedback from being healed by allies.
  • Players will receive a one-time quest that grants a free chest roll of the new Summer Chest. Win a single game of Onslaught to collect your prize!

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where some controllers would occasionally snap their view to straight up or straight down.
  • Addressed an issue where Aim Assist would function incorrectly while moving up and down an incline.
  • Fixed a bug where a player’s crosshairs could get permanently stuck at maximum inaccuracy.
  • Fixed a bug where proximity indicators for abilities such as Grumpy Bomb or Time Bomb could incorrectly show that you were out of range.
  • Fixed a bug where clicking options while loading would soft lock the game.
  • Fixed a bug where players could not filter in the Champion Cards screen when using a Gamepad.
  • Fixed a bug where viewing champion masteries with a gamepad would stop you from navigating to other submenus on the Champion screen.
  • Fixed a bug that caused strange visual states when changing Texture Detail from low to a higher setting.
  • Fixed a bug where high level players partying with new accounts was functioning inconsistently across different queues. All queues will now function like Siege has been.
  • Addressed an issue where players could get deserter when accepting a match invite at the last second. There should now be a slightly longer grace period.
  • Addressed an issue where sometimes emotes would not play in killcam.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Status Effect messages to stop triggering.
  • Fixed a bug where Cauterize would trail characters when they teleported as if they had moved directly.
  • Fixed a bug that caused legendary effects such as Combustible to deactivate when the player died. Now if the projectiles persist they will maintain the properties they would have if the champion were still alive.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Weapon icons to not appear blocked when players are unable to fire.
  • Fixed end of match lobby scoreboard sometimes not showing separate teams.
  • Fixed Mastery coin being stuck on Champions when they die with the Mastery Emote equipped.

  • Summer Chest: Get a free Summer Chest when winning 1 Onslaught match (during OB53).

Onslaught Mode: Reduced ticket gain for holding the point by 50%
Onslaught has proven to be a great addition to our selection of game modes. We are reducing the capture area’s influence on scoring in order to prioritize kills as the primary factor in a team’s success. The mode is intended to be fast paced and fun, but currently stacking the point with multiple tanks and healers is too effective. We will continue to polish and improve this mode in future patches.

(Frozen Guard) Fix bug where players can hit an invisible wall near capture point.
(Snowfall Junction) Players were hitting props that affect mobility. We simplified collision around capture point and near spawn rooms.

Many of the Champion changes this patch are targeted at improving the shooting experience and weapon feel of our characters. In some cases this means modifying projectile speed, in others, it’s tweaking the way the screen FOV animates when the weapon is fired. We also extended the range of some Champions who we felt were too limited to close combat encounters. We will continue to monitor the balance implications of these changes and review further shooting experience improvements in the future.


General: Improvements made to weapon fire feel.

Fixed a bug where Androxus would remain immune after Reversal was interrupted.
Fixed a bug where Reversal could return too much damage when absorbing an AoE effect.

Defiance Fixed a bug that caused Defiance to fire an extra shot when used to cancel an emote.

Card – Slight of Hand Sleight of Hand no longer goes on cooldown if the player already has full ammo when they use nether step.


Burst Cannon
Increase Weapon range from 50 to 80.
Increased Explosion Falloff.

Kinetic Burst
Fixed a bug where Kinetic burst could be fired multiple times before going on cooldown.
Fixed a bug where hitting someone with Shoulder Bash then Kinetic Burst could send them flying very far.
Fixed a bug where trying to fire Kinetic Burst after Shoulder Bash could stop Shoulder Bash from dealing damage.
Fixed a bug where Kinetic Burst remains active on Respawn if Ash died with the ability active.


Blunderbuss Increased damage when hitting with less pellets.


General: Improvements made to weapon fire feel.

Heroic Leap Fixed an issue where Heroic Leap would not properly go on Cooldown if Buck was pulled to the ground by an external source.


Legendary – Accelerant Fixed a Tooltip bug where Accelerant said it was increasing knockback by more than it was.


Crossbow Increase Projectile Speed from 500 to 600.


General: Fixed a bug where Drogoz’s Fire Spit detonation was not properly mitigated by Blast Shields.

Card – Bask Fixed a bug that caused Bask to only heal you if your rockets hit while Salvo was actively firing.


Ice Staff Increase projectile speed from 100 to 200.

Ice Staff
No longer grants bonus damage.
Fixed a bug where blinking off the map to your death would result in your next blink possibly killing you again.


Flame Lance
Increase Weapon Range from 30 to 50.
Reduced cone attack angle.


Lightning Staff Increase attack range from 100 to 120.

Legendary – Wraith Fixed a bug where Wraith could only activate once per life. It will now recharge after 30s.


Throwing Axe
Increased Projectile Speed from 230 to 350.
Reduced Damage Scaling Value from 200% bonus to 150% bonus.
Damage scaling max range reduced from 300 to 250.

Crippling Throw
Increased damage of Crippling Throw from 300 to 400.
Increased Projectile Speed from 230 to 350.

Ultimate now grants CC immunity.
Fixed a bug where Whirlwind could not be cancelled.


General: Improvements made to weapon fire feel.


General Fixed a bug where Lex’s retribution would not reveal his target through Maeve ult.


Daggers Reduce projectile drop by 25%.

Card – Scar Tissue Fixed a bug causing this card to work incorrectly.


Improvements made to weapon fire feel.
Increased projectile speed from 185 to 250.

Dredge Anchor Fixed a bug where Dredge anchor was ending its travel to the left of the crosshair at maximum range. Dredge Anchor will now converge with the crosshair at maximum range.

Shell Shield Fixed a bug where Shell Shield wasn’t showing up for other players in certain scenarios.


Mending Spirits Fixed a bug where Mending Spirits could not heal through enemy shields.

Spitting Cobra Increased projectile speed from 180 to 240.


Potion Launcher Increased projectile speed from 250 to 300.

Evil Mojo Fixed a bug where if Evil Mojo hit Inara’s Wall it would persist until the wall dropped then continue traveling. It now will explode on contact with the wall.


Soul Orb
Increased projectile speed from 70 to 150.
Decreased Remote Proximity Distance from 4 to 2.5.

Shadow Travel
Duration reduced from 5s to 4s.
Cooldown Increased from 12s to 14s.


General: Preparation now only affects kills.


Range increased from 41 to 50.
Reduced Shield health from 5000 to 2000.
Increased Health from 3500 to 5000.
Torvald is performing far above average in all queues, in part because of the forced reliance on items to effectively combat him. The Distribution of his Shielding and Health Values also contributed to this polarized experience. For example, without the appropriate items, Torvald is a juggernaut but once his opponents acquire the necessary items he becomes far too ineffective. These changes will allow him to rely on a larger health pool while also reducing the necessity of items to fight him effectively.


General: Increase projectile speed from 250 to 300.


General Fixed his inhand projectiles not simulating properly on other clients.

Counter Now blocks projectiles while swinging the counter attack even when not equipped with the Retaliation legendary.

Reduced the Pre hit of Billow from 0.2s to 0s.
You may now jump while in Billow.
